Ganga connects me to Varanasi: Narendra Modi

After tasting an enormous victory, BJP leader Narendra Modi on Saturday visited Varanasi and offered hopes at Kashi Vishwanath temple.

After going to the temple, the pm-elect visited Dashashwamedh Ghat and required part in ‘Ganga Aarti’ for around half-an-hour among chanting of ‘slokas’ and coming of conch shells.

Narendra Modi was supported by BJP leader Rajnath Singh, his close aide Amit Shah and party UP Chief Lakshmikant Bajpai.

His visiting the town is viewed as a gesture of gratitude towards people here who’ve chosen him with a huge margin well over three lakh votes.

The Gujarat Chief Minister thanked people for playing a significant role within the formation of BJP-brought NDA government in the Center. He stated the Ganga connected him to folks of Varanasi.

An enormous electronic lotus (artificial lotus) was sailed in the center of the Ganga River.

Local police, together with Gujarat police, local intelligence unit sleuths and central forces were used within the entire area around the banks from the Ganga River at Rajendra Prasad ghat.

Passes were mostly released to BJP leaders and employees and customary everyone was limited to the ghat where Narendra Modi visited.

Even people in the adjacent Meer ghat and Shitla ghat were restricted to feed the Rajendra Prasad ghat.
