Anna Hazare is an Indian social worker. His real name is Kisan Baburao Hazare. He received special recognition for the development program in Ralegon-Siddhi village in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India. His efforts turned this village is an idol village. He was awarded the honor of Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 1992for his recognition. From 5 April 2011, he had been doing hunger strike and created pressure on the central government demanding ‘Jon Lokpal Bill’ passed for stopping corruption in government offices.
Anna Hazare was born in a family of unskilled laborers in Bhingari Village in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. His father was Baburao Hazare, and mother was Laksmibai. They had five acres of land. Anna has two sisters. In 1952, his family moved to Ralegon-Siddhi village for adverse conditions. He was raised by his childless aunt. He did not study after class VII for financial suffering.
